Crazy Ideas

The one way I know that I am truly out of culture shock and settled into my life here is that I am coming up with some crazy ideas again.  They make me laugh and I really enjoy planning or thinking about things that will never happen.  Especially now that I am praying and thinking about what comes next in my journey with Christ.
Today, I want to share my latest crazy idea.  Yesterday, on my 40 minute or so trufi ride I got it in my head that it would be fun to open up a Christian Café with my Bolivian friend, Sarvia.  We could call it Café Americano or something like that.  Play all our favorite Christian music.  We would serve all our favorite teas, coffees, and brunch like stuff.  It would be a place for meetings like what I normally did with my financial partners and prayer partners.  It could be a place for teens to hang out and maybe give a cleaning afterschool job too.  I was thinking that would be a great way for me to pour out in the lives of anyone who came in.  In time I could go to other places and do missions, but that be my home base.  That it could give Sarvia a steady paycheck and her the same openness.  She loves serving God in any way that she can.

However, that is just another one of my crazy ideas.  They are fun, but nothing every really comes of them.  I would not have a clue how to run a business, especially here.  Please email me or facebook me some of your crazy thoughts or ideas.  It would make my day and give me something to chuckle over.

15 "So I commend the enjoyment of life, because there is nothing better for a person under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany them in their toil all the days of the life God has given them under the sun.
16 When I applied my mind to know wisdom and to observe the labor that is done on earth—people getting no sleep day or night— "  Ecclesiastes 8:15-16
PS:  The jungle stuff is in Ecuador.  The mission trip that drove me to be a missionary.
