People that work in a church, as a missionary, or anything in between may seem to only have one job. I will call that the front job. However, everyone that I know seems to have several jobs

My front job is working with children-at -risk with their homework and pouring love into their lives. Another thing that I do is help with feeding the homeless, which is really just going and hanging out with some food
and talking. I can talk, but in Spanish it is still requires effort. The good news is a woman who is involved with this ministry has taken me under her wing and is helping me with Quechua too. Another one of my jobs is being there for other missionaries, just a friend that they can vent too. It is so important to have people in your life that you can say anything and it be okay. One of my favorite jobs that I have adopted is the official pet sitter. Whenever a missionary goes anywhere, I usually am the person that takes care of the pets. I have really missed my four-legged babies, so it is nice to be loved on and love on others. As my Spanish improves, I hope to get more involved in my church. As of right now, I am not confident enough to get in front of a group and try to teach or anything else like that.
God is showing me different opportunities to serve Him. It doesn't need to be the cookie cutter way. He has a different path for every one. The great thing about this is that it is okay to embrace the ways that you are different and hand them over to God. He will do some incredible things in a life. I love how He has used me and how He is always changing what I am expecting and opening new avenues.
7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8 To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10 to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues,[a] and to still another the interpretation of tongues.[b] 11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.
