Getting Ready for the Holiday Season

I realize that I am still very much still on the American holiday schedule.  In August, I bought all my family's Christmas gifts to send back to the states with a missionary.  Then, Monday was Canadian Thanksgiving.  I started celebrating that last year because Thanksgiving is my favorite food holiday.  So, I realized I am entering the holiday season.  This is when many people start gaining weight, but I gain weight during the winter and I just exited my winter.  I am becoming more aware of my changes in country, culture, age, and environment.
After the winter ended I started eating about half of what I was eating in the cold months, but I realized that I consume most of my calories in liquid form: coffee, hot chocolate, tea, and the all the yummy Bolivian drinks that I have never seen in the States.  So after two months of not seeing any difference and having a serious conversation with God I decided it was time to start working out again.  Since moving to where most of the missionaries are, I have not walked nearly as much and it shows.  My new workout regime is a little intense, but something I am right now enjoying.  In the morning I am dancing and working the cardio in the morning before the day sucks away all my energy.  Then I wait for about an hour after I get home from work before I eat dinner to do pilates.  This way I am getting all the exercise I need but with out the troublesome pain of cramping and too much soreness.

8 "But food does not bring us near to God; we are no worse if we do not eat, and no better if we do.
Be careful, however, that the exercise of your rights does not become a stumbling block to the weak. 10 For if someone with a weak conscience sees you, with all your knowledge, eating in an idol’s temple, won’t that person be emboldened to eat what is sacrificed to idols?"
1 Corinthians 8:8-10
