Last night I went to my first concert in another country. Not only that, it was my first concert in years. I don't usually care to stand around with other people and listen to loud music. Not since I became a responsible adult at least. However, I made an exception this time. Evan Craft was the first singer I found in Spanish that I actually enjoyed. I found out last night the irony is that he is American.
It was nice to worship in a different way. At times it felt like I could almost hear some lyrics in English. I am sure that it was the Holy Spirit working within me. My friends were spread out all over the basketball court, where the concert was held, with many strangers in between. But, it felt like we were all together. King David led a great example with music, singing, and dancing to worship God. We don't have to be reverent statues. We can all do different things to show our love for God.
3 Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet;
Praise Him with the lute and harp!
4 Praise Him with the timbrel and dance;
Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!
5 Praise Him with loud cymbals;
Praise Him with clashing cymbals!
Praise Him with the lute and harp!
4 Praise Him with the timbrel and dance;
Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!
5 Praise Him with loud cymbals;
Praise Him with clashing cymbals!
Psalms 150:3-5
