Visitors

At the guesthouse we have been very busy.  We have had groups coming in and out where all the rooms are filled.  It has been great, but it has not affected me too much since my apartment is in a separate building.  However, Marilyn and Al Andrews visited and I was amazed at how excited I became.  They didn't come to visit me, but I did get to hang out with them.  Al is a connection to books for me and a well of information. Marilyn was my person in the states as I prepared to get here.  We have not kept up that well once I got here, but I hope I do better now that everything is not new or overwhelming.

Sunday, I talked to my home church.  I always get a rush of gratitude and love when I talk with my church family.  They informed me that they may come and visit.  Pray that it comes true.  I would love to show them my world.  Now that I have began a somewhat routine (and feel a freedom or peace that I have not had in many of years), I have begun to paint, color, and sort of draw again.  It is nice to see something come together even if it is never as good as I would like.  I have to thank Marilyn and Al for the inspiration.  Life is so different, but so good here.
On a sad note, my friends Ruth and Dino moved back to England for a year or two this week.  I will miss them.  It can be difficult to have people come and go in your life.  However, God places some people to be in your life for life and some for a season.  It doesn't mean that the relationships are lesser or have no value.  It is just how life works.
11 Therefore, if perfection were through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need was there that another priest should rise according to the order of Melchizedek, and not be called according to the order of Aaron? 12 For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law. 13 For He of whom these things are spoken belongs to another tribe, from which no man has officiated at the altar.  Hebrews 7:11-13
This is my life group here in Cochabamba.  Be praying for all of them because many are going through major transition and we all need prayer.

  1. Good morning, how are you?

My name is Emilio, I am a Spanish boy and I live in a town near to Madrid. I am a very interested person in knowing things so different as the culture, the way of life of the inhabitants of our planet, the fauna, the flora, and the landscapes of all the countries of the world etc. in summary, I am a person that enjoys traveling, learning and respecting people's diversity from all over the world.

I would love to travel and meet in person all the aspects above mentioned, but unfortunately as this is very expensive and my purchasing power is quite small, so I devised a way to travel with the imagination in every corner of our planet. A few years ago I started a collection of used stamps because through them, you can see pictures about fauna, flora, monuments, landscapes etc. from all the countries. As every day is more and more difficult to get stamps, some years ago I started a new collection in order to get traditional letters addressed to me in which my goal was to get at least 1 letter from each country in the world. This modest goal is feasible to reach in the most part of countries, but unfortunately, it is impossible to achieve in other various territories for several reasons, either because they are very small countries with very few population, either because they are countries at war, either because they are countries with extreme poverty or because for whatever reason the postal system is not functioning properly.

For all this, I would ask you one small favor:
Would you be so kind as to send me a letter by traditional mail from Bolivia? I understand perfectly that you think that your blog is not the appropriate place to ask this, and even, is very probably that you ignore my letter, but I would call your attention to the difficulty involved in getting a letter from that country, and also I don’t know anyone neither where to write in Bolivia in order to increase my collection. a letter for me is like a little souvenir, like if I have had visited that territory with my imagination and at same time, the arrival of the letters from a country is a sign of peace and normality and an original way to promote a country in the world. My postal address is the following one:

    Emilio Fernandez Esteban
Avenida Juan de la Cierva, 44
    28902 Getafe (Madrid)
    Spain

If you wish, you can visit my blog www.cartasenmibuzon.blogspot.com where you can see the pictures of all the letters that I have received from whole World.

Finally, I would like to thank the attention given to this letter, and whether you can help me or not, I send my best wishes for peace, health and happiness for you, your family and all your dear beings.

    Yours Sincerely

    Emilio Fernandez
