The Little Things

You always here "Don't Sweat the Little Things", which is a good sayings.  However, I would like to hear people talk more about the little things.  It is the little things that make your day a good one or a bad one.  We chose to appreciate what God gives us daily or we do not.
Since I have gotten to Cochabamba, I realize more and more how the little things make me happy.  I look forward to the smell of soap on the streets.  (Most people wash their sidewalk every morning because of all the dust and animal waste.)  It is a small thing, but it brings a smile to my face.  I love looking out and seeing the glorious mountains all around me and how the sun and clouds makes shadows.  I love the opportunity to walk everywhere without worrying about being hit by a car.  I love how the people think that I am one of them (as long as I don't open my mouth). Even the new people think I am Bolivian until they get to know me.
My life is blessed daily with the little gifts that God choses to bless me with.  I could focus on all the little negative things because they are here.  However, they are where you are at too.  I acknowledge them as part of my life and they help me be even more grateful for what I have.  I challenge you to only look for the positive over the weekend and see how wonderful your weekend can be. God Bless!
“Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:“Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.  Deuteronomy 28:1-3
