My transformation only began with getting ready to come to Cochabamba. When I get here everything is new: roads, people, language, food, money, air, altitude, and so much more. Now I really prepared to come. I did everything I could to get to know the area, local missionaries, and what to expect culturally. That was just a drop in the bucket. Right now, talking to my cross country prayer group is where I find my normalcy. We had to skype before I left because I lived in Georgia, one in New Jersey, one in Oklahoma, one in Minnesota, and occasionally one in California. God sent them to me without any of us knowing how much we needed each other for a variety of reasons. God is always providing even when we don't know what to ask of Him. It just may not be the way we want or expect.
12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.
Jeremiah 29:12-14
