The snow is gone, the rain has come, and spring is around the corner. It may be uncomfortable and miserable right now, but I can see life is coming back. I am ready for winter to be over and to see the earth bloom again. It is invigorating. My grandfather is doing better and that makes me smile. My family has been spending more time together. God is bringing us back to life again too.
I believe that God is working in the heart of my ministry. He is working in ways that I do not understand and I am learning how to accept that. I have all the confidence in the world that just because things are not the way I want them to be (that I am in a Spiritual Winter) that God is getting ready for me and my ministry to bloom. I am almost to my Spiritual Spring. The snow is melting and I my heart is beginning to warm. The fruit of my preparation, prayer, and perseverance will bloom soon.
"4 because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people— 5 the faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true message of the gospel 6 that has come to you. In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world—just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace." Colossians 1:4-6
