Faith and Hope

"because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s peoplethe faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true message of the gospel that has come to you. In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world—just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace."
Colossians 1:4-6

My sister's middle name is Faith and mine is Hope. Our parents gave us the names because of their spiritual importance.  Love is even more important, but I don't think I can really love others the way God does without claiming trusting faith and hope in Him.   He has walked every step of this journey with me.  He has shown me things about Him and myself.  Trust does not come easy.  I had to learn how to trust Him.
I got saved at a young age, but I allowed the world to have too much influence on me in my youth.  This was the cause for some extremely erroneous decisions that I made in my life.  Those decisions left me broken.  God allowed this to happen, so that I would come back to Him (which I did).  When I did He healed me and made me stronger than I was before.  Do not get me wrong we do not have to destroy our lives to have what I have with Him now.  I do have scars.  Because of my divorce, I may always have the stereotype as a divorcee against me.  It may close some doors in my ministry.  I don't care. God has redeemed me and He will use me.  My experiences have bridged the way for me to show others how to have faith in Him and how that faith will produce hope.
