13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
Galations 5:13-14

Memorial Day is a Monday, so it is always a weekend event. Until this year, I really did not realize how big of a family holiday it had become. It is a time to look back and remember all the horrible sacrifices people have made to provide us a free country. However, to me it is a time to reflect on what we are doing as a nation to deserve our freedom. The more we walk away from God's commandments the more vulnerable we become. I pray that I do all that God would ask of me. Revival starts with me and I may influence others. However, it would take a nation to fix the mess we have allowed to happen to our country. I am so blessed to have all that I have for being an American. I am more blessed to be from Bartow County, a place where we are allowed to speak up about God and all He has done and will do.
This Memorial weekend I spent with friends and I loved it. It was a beautiful overcast day, so it never got too hot. I got to do a little over seven mile hike and enjoy a laughable lunch with friends that I work with. For those who bbq it must have been nice because the storm did not hit until evening. Thank you God for the perfect weekend.

PS The Pictures over over a span and not just Memorial Day weekend. They are all people that I have worked with that love to like and spend time outdoors like myself. To me there is no better way to see God's goodness.
