Technology

It seems that we rely on technology for everything.  It consumes our lives.  I see people out and they are on their phones instead of engaging with each other.  That is part of the reason I resisted getting a smart phone so long.  However, I have learned even in my ministry, I require technology to get by.  I need technology for this blog, emails, contact people by phone.  Then there is movies, books, and games that all require technology now.  I finally broke down and got my first smart phone.  It will be a good thing, but right now all it is doing is consuming all my time.  I am actually grateful for work so I have to put it down.
God is teaching me how to be flexible.  He putting things in my path that are changing me and how I see things (like it or not).  He is so good to love someone like me.  Please be praying about some more choices that I am in the process of making.  I would stay the same, but like the technological world we live in, God wants me to change and grow too.  He is putting people in my life that are helping me grow and view God's vast world in a new perspective.  I just need a little direction and the courage to follow God even if it may be somewhere I did not plan on going.

“You are worthy, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they were created
    and have their being.”
Revelations 4:11
