February

      February is black history month and the month about love.  My focus this month is going to be on love.  I have so many people in my life that I love and that love me.  However, there are people in all of our lives that we would just rather not deal with.  These people I call the unlovable people. It is so much harder to love people that just irritate, bully, rude, or just flat out hateful. 
     When I meet people like that I remind myself that I am not always pleasant (even though I try).  I am not always polite.  I annoy or irritate people too.  I have learned over the last few years that the best thing is to pray for these people.  It would probably be best to pray with them if they are willing, but I have not matured to get to that level yet.  I try to understand what got them to the place that they are at and realize that sometimes it is not about me, I am just the person that they take things out on.
     I pray for patience with unlovable people.  I wonder how I will be received in Bolivia.  I hope that I will be embraced and make friends fast.  Please join me in the goal and prayer to do better this month.  To show agape love and not just worldly love.
