Time Flies

I can't believe that Thanksgiving has passed and that Christmas is almost here.  Time is going by so fast that it is hard to keep up.  Thanksgiving was a wonderful day of relaxation for me.  I have so much to be grateful for.  The entire family was together for the first time in 10 years.  I don't know, but maybe it was a goodbye gift to me from God.
This week I think I have gotten a cold, so I am needing a little more rest.  Cold or not, I am happy.  Life is good.  It is nothing like I thought it would be.  I am not the professional, self-reliant person that I expected to be.  I have learned how to allow others to help me in life.  I still struggle with that and at times wish I could do everything on my own, but it is an important lesson to learn.  I also learned that I will never be happy stuck in an office working from 9-5 watching my life pass me by.  I love that everyday I am doing something new or different.  My time feels more productive now and that makes me happy.
I treasure my relationships and will miss some people so much that it will hurt my soul a little.  That said, I am looking forward in anticipation of the relationships that I will be building.  I can't wait to start my new life.
